Windy, very windy!
Eventard is the name of Angers’ race course.
In Eventard, there is the word “vent”, “wind”.
This is all year long….But today, it was windy everywhere, and it was just a little worse at Eventard.
Jacques Ricou said the horses could not stay straight!
This is certainly why there were so many fallers, and so many horses pulled up by their jockeys.
Let’s note that Zentaurus managed to show that he had room for improvement, and that Baragouin was very unlucky to race in such conditions for his first time out.
