Third time Benoît Gicquel wins this race for filles
Benoît Gicquel had already won the “prix des pouliches” with Pin up unfortunately a premature and very sad loss, then with Santa Bamba and now with Folie Lointaine.
This sister of Firmini by Poliglote won very easily today in heavy rain fall!
Very disappointed by Swing Mambo who was expected to do much better: this first time out over the jumps does not reflect (hopefully) the horse’s real value.
Paon du Houx was not in the rythm of the race, he is probably rusty and needs to run.
At Nantes, Oward jumped very nicely, but ths big horse needs heavier ground and longer distance to show his real ablilty.
